During their first year, babies do a lot of growing. Not only do they grow physically, they also attain and master certain social and cognitive skills. Babies do a lot of this growing and skill practice during their interactions with adults and during play. Selecting the right kinds of toys is important to enhance your baby's development.

0-4 months: From birth to four months, babies typically gain enough strength to support their head when sitting upright. Those tiny closed hands will soon open up to grab on to rattles, blankets, and other things within their reach. Stimulate your baby’s sense of sight, hearing and touch with toys with vibrant colors and patterns, different  textures, and different sounds.
